Senior UI Software Engineer
Our client is an enterprise virtualization and storage company & developing various solutions using Backbone, React.js, Python & similar technologies.
Role: We are looking for a UI
developer to develop visualization of file analytics solution. You will be
responsible to design and development of the UI and will working with API
Engineers and Data architect to drive the work. As a key member of cutting edge
product team responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Own
the design and development / enhancement of file analytics responsive UI
application
- Able to work & Collaborate with Global
engineering and cross functional team (mainly India and USA)
- Work
with QA team to review the test plan
- Provide the design guidance and perform peer
review
- Identify
and manage key risks and raises them to higher levels, as appropriate
- Process
adherence as laid out by the customer / organization process, specifically
CMMI / Agile guidelines in all work areas using latest artefacts
- Contributing in organizational activities such as recruitment drives, campus hiring, training, writing blogs, Hackathon etc

Key Skills –
Mandatory
Skills:
- Minimum 5 - 7 years of strong programming
experience in Bootstrap, Backbone, Node JS, UnderscoreJS and D5, React/ ReactJS
- Strong
knowledge of JSON, XML, REST API, JavaScript, LESS / CSS2/3, HTML5, jQuery
- Strong
development experience in Linux OS
- Proficient
in Version Control Software – Git and Gerrit, knowledge of Jenkins
- Background
of Enterprise Company – Product Development experience (i.e.
Virtualization, Cloud Native software’s, Networking, Storage,
Kernel, Operating System as well OS level) would be prefer
- Ability
to develop strong domain knowledge to enable making product level
decisions
- Good understanding of Software development lifecycle and methodology (Waterfall or Agile)
Other Mandatory
Aspects –
- Early/ immediate joiners are welcome
- Exposure to Jasmine Unit testing framework
- Knowledge of Jira
- Knowledge of Cloud Computing (AWS, Google
Cloud, Azure)
- Experience working in UI development of large
distributed system
- Experience in any of these is a plus - Message Bus (RabbitMQ, Kafka), Elastic Search, Cassandra and Zookeeper
