Senior Software Engineer

Project Description: This project is with one of the largest and leading Investment Banking organization in the world. This project involves working on banking domain and would provide exposure to the various internal processing that takes place at the back-end.

Experience on Commercial Cards would be an added advantage for this position. You will get to work on a niche technology with an opportunity to work in a technical satisfying environment. You will be working on Secure and Architectural Environment. Also, you will be a part of young fast-growing team and can have a great career growth

Key Responsibilities/ Challenges:

• Design, code, test, document and implement application release projects as part of development team
• Work with onsite development partners to participate in design and architecture for key enterprise applications to ensure deliver software on time, to required standards and as per the design documentation
• Proactively notify Development Project Manager of risks, bottlenecks, problems, issues, and concerns
• Compliance with organizations System Development Lifecycle and Information Security requirements
• Will work closely with Quality Control teams to deliver quality software to agreed project schedules
• Work with BA and understand all functional and technical requirements of the project

Key Skills –

Mandatory Skills:

• Minimum 5 - 7 years of proven project experience
• Experience in Financial Services and Data Warehousing
• Strong technical experience in the areas of Data Analysis, Database Design and ETL
• Strong Ab Initio expertise is required with good knowledge/ worked on Express IT, Plans
• Appreciation of IBM Business Data Warehouse models and architectures
• Proficient with DB2 PL/SQL, Stored Procedures and Unix

Other Mandatory Aspects –

• Early/ immediate joiners are welcome
• Manage tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes
• Ability to learn/understand technical implications of system design

Personal Skills –                                                  

• Good communication and interpersonal skill
• Clearly articulating and documenting technical and functional specifications is a key requirement
• Flexibility to work in multiple complex projects and changing priorities
