The candidate would be responsible for
handling small-sized development team. He/ She should be result oriented, need to
groom the team members and should have sound technical understanding of Java/ J2EE
and related technologies. He/ She should be able to properly assess effort and
size of work. Also, drive and mature Agile team. He/ She should possess good
client and stakeholder management skills
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead/ Manage a team of
developers on both new development and issue fixing
- Hands-on in technical
design discussions and advise/ unblock developers when they hit roadblocks
- Ensure high quality
code via design reviews and code reviews
- Work closely together
with Scrum Master, Architects and QA. This includes participating in
project planning, grooming, scrum and demos
- Report status on
project deliverables to upper management and mitigate risks as they arise
- Hands-on coding/ PoC as per project needs

Key Skills –
Mandatory Skills:
- Minimum 8+ years of overall engineering experience with minimum 3+
years of experience of leading team
- Hands-on experience on Java/J2EE and related technologies
- Good experience with Multi-threading
- Good experience with Web Services and Spring
- Hands-on experience in designing high performance
applications
- Experience in AWS and its various components
- Good knowledge Unit testing and related frameworks
- Good experience in design patterns, understanding of Solid Principles, Dependency Injections, Entity framework
Others Mandatory Techniques –
- Early / immediate joiners are welcome
- ServiceNow testing background is desirable
- Content testing and conversation engine background is nice to have
- Experience in enterprise application testing
- Excellent leadership skills working with and
resolving people related issues, as well as technical challenges
- Solid understanding of the Software
Development Life Cycle
- Strong team management experience with complex
projects
