Key Skills –
Mandatory Skills:
- Should have 3 – 5 years of industry experience
- Well versed with QA process
- Good knowledge of Linux System concepts
- Virtualization Concepts (Exposure to any product such as vCenter,
OpenStack, ESXi, KVM, Storage Virtualization)
- Experience in Scripting using Shell Scripting, Python or any scripting
language
- Experience in any of Networking, and Storage
Manual:
- Good in Virtualization Concepts/ Linux System Concepts/ Storage
System
- Sound knowledge of the clouds preferably vCenter
- Be able to create, deploy, destroy VMs
- Hands-on experience in templates, provisioning, and container will
be an added advantage
- Linux:
Ø Familiar with all basic commands of Linux. How
to see process list, memory usage information, and CPUS
Ø Able to install/ configure Linux OS, if there is
a disk full, should know where to look for, and cleanup
- Storage:
Ø Familiar with block storage, file storage
concepts, LUNs, ISCCI, NSA, SAN, NFS concepts
Ø An experienced candidate should have performed
scale testing or principles of benchmark testing and difficulties. Usage of
scale testing or load generation tool is not enough; rather, should know what
is test load, how it is generated and so on
Automation:
- In addition, candidate should be familiar with Basic Python and able to write programs to automate the task
Other Mandatory Aspects –
- Early/ immediate joiners are welcome
- Experience in working on performance engineering/ benchmarking
Personal Skills
–
- Good communication and interpersonal skill (articulation using
verbal and non-verbal skills)
- Attention to details and flexible to learn
- Ability to express their design ideas and thoughts
