Technical Lead
Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Contractor) – AWS Migration (CloudFormation → Terraform)

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in AWS infrastructure-as-code (IaC) migrations, specifically moving from AWS CloudFormation (CFT) to Terraform (TF). This role is hands-on and requires someone who can work independently with minimal supervision, delivering high-quality infrastructure code that is maintainable, scalable, and efficient.
Responsibilities:
- Migrate existing AWS infrastructure from CloudFormation to Terraform.
- Refactor and optimize IaC to reduce drift and standardize deployments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth integration of Terraform modules into existing workflows.
- Establish best practices and guardrails for Terraform adoption.
- Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 9+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with at least 5 years focused on AWS.
- Proven hands-on experience with AWS CloudFormation and Terraform (writing, testing, and deploying IaC).
- Terraform Associate Certification required; Terraform Authoring and Operations Professional preferred.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, etc.).
- Experience in handling infrastructure drift and implementing preventive measures.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal oversight.
- Candidate have to 2hours overlap with PST time zone .
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience working in large-scale, complex AWS environments.
- Background in infrastructure cost optimization and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD pipelines.
