We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Developer to lead the development and implementation of the Security Incident Management module. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise with ServiceNow ITSM processes, along with a strong track record of customizing and configuring platform components to meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy solutions for the Security Incident module within ServiceNow.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure best practices in implementation.
- Develop and manage core ServiceNow components including:
- Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Data Policies, ACLs
- Workflows, Flow Designer, Notifications, and Script Includes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security, operations, and compliance to ensure the platform supports enterprise needs.
- Maintain system documentation and provide user training where necessary.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–8+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development.
- Proven expertise in ITSM modules, with a strong focus on Security Incident Management.
- Solid understanding of ServiceNow scripting and platform configuration.
- Experience in implementing and customizing workflow automation using Flow Designer and Workflow Editor.
- Strong knowledge of Access Control (ACL) and ServiceNow security best practices.
- Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Experience with other ServiceNow modules like SecOps, GRC, or CMDB is a plus.
- Familiarity with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Exposure to ITIL framework and Incident Response best practices.
