NFR QA

About this position:

We are looking for an experienced NFR QA with 5–8 years of industry experience to join our growing team at Pune. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in troubleshooting and analytical skills in networking, storage, virtualization, system configurations, file systems. Strong communication skills are a must, as the role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders

 Impact you will realize: Job Responsibilities

 Primary Responsibilities:

• QA experience in the domain of UNIX, Windows along with ability to draw in depth test scenarios
• Install and configure & test software and hardware, networks, and technology tools
• Set up accounts and workstations
• Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
• Troubleshoot issues and outages Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls, NACLs.
• Upgrade systems with new releases and models
• Develop expertise to train staff in new technologies
• Knowledge in defect & test management tools like Jira, Zephyr etc
• Experience with automation shell scripting, power shell etc

 Key skills you will require:

Primary Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in networking, storage, virtualization, system configurations, file systems
• Ability to configure, troubleshoot, analyze Windows& Linux operating system issues
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Exposure to multiple platforms, architectures, networking, technology tools
• Understanding of storage technologies like SAN/NAS virtualization & Unix/Windows environment and protocols like FC, FCOE and NAS.
• Experience with public cloud IaaS, PaaS(AWS would be added advantage)
